Today, TYPA submitted the grant application for short-term network funding from the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture. This is the first step in building a long term program.
This limited grant which will allow for 3 first meetings, to be held at TYPA in Tartu, Estonia, The Fjeld-Ljom Newspaper Museum in Røros, Norway, and The Grafiska Museet in Helsingborg, Sweden, over the course of 2025. These will be workshops, looking at training participants in the operation and maintenance of linecasting machines. We anticipate ca. 8 participants to attend each meeting and feel this would be prioritised for the Nordic-Baltic applicants (as this is where the funding is targeted), with some limited participation from other countries.
