Participants and Bursaries

We are now looking for participants for our training programme. We are particularly interested in people who have the opportunity to continue working with Linotypes and other typesetting machines in the longer term, though we welcome beginners and enthusiasts at all levels. All workshops are free to attend. A travel and accommodation bursary is available and will be prioritised for those with demonstrated financial need, those with a long-term interest in hot type, and those from Nordic and Baltic countries. Self-funded participation is also possible, so please do apply regardless of your circumstances.

To apply for a training place on any or even all of the trainings, please send a brief motivation letter (describing your interest in hot type and any relevant experience) with a CV to: charlotte@typa.ee
